Wine House is a wine app that helps you connect wine lovers to wineries, it 's also a wine app where the users can interact, share, explore.

We did a market research based on Napa Valley which is one of the biggest vineyards in USA. In the research, we found out the visitors from domestic is more than international. The top two reasons for people to visit are having a vacation and weekend getaway. 62% of them only spent one day in the vineyard.

During the research, wine tasting is the most activities that visitors do. Before the trip, visitors plan their trip by going through reviews and mapping websites. The conclusion of our research is that we need to focus on activities with time selection for visitors to plan their trip. Next is the interview that we did.

Users access the experience they want quicker with well-categorized event information such as music, wine tasting, and conventions.

Users can access detailed information about the wine in the shopping list based on the information they have heard indirectly and it can be linked to the purchase directly.

Similar events or wines will be recommended based on feedback gathered from the onboarding experience  and event information that users have attended.

Sally and Robert are going to celebrate Sally’s birthday in Napa Valley. They want to schedule a wine tasting and dine at a local restaurant. They would also like to look for a special events nearby.

PAIN POINTS

- They do not always have the ability to enjoy activities closeby due to busy schedules. 
- They do not always know about all events going on around them.

GOALS

View all available wine tastings and tours during their stay. Buy a bottle of wine to bring home from their trip.
